Water Exercise Equipment
Exercise Equipment for the Pool
The Aquatrend Water Workout Station™ is the exercise station in the pool
which provides a life time of fun and enjoyment. Selecting the Aquatrend
water exercise
equipment will be the start of your physical engagement in water
workouts. Now it is time to consider how you can take care of your body,
and get the most benefit and fun from your safe workout in the pool.
This device can be helpful to get in shape for all kinds of populations,
from children to adults. It can be successfully utilized in
rehabilitation, conditioning and training programs.
The programs that we use in the water on this station reach more then
600 muscles in the human body. It helps to restore and increase joint
mobility and muscle strength. Many people can do more exercises in the
water than they can do on the land, staying injury free. For example, a
lot of people never did a chin-up in their entire life; they try many
times on the land, but no results. Doing chin-ups using the Aquatrend
Water Workout Station in the water is so easy, and it feels right. The
Aquatrend is an excellent tool for stretching muscles, working on pelvic
stability and achieving body alignment. We practice all exercises in the
horizontal position, sitting, standing and dynamic mode. It's easy and
safe to select exercises for rehabilitation following this guidance.
This makes the workout more efficient and fun.
Every day for almost two decades I have been working with elderly people
with aging-associated problems: arthritis, loss of mobility, hip
replacement, knee replacement, etc. They are doing exercises with great
joy and enthusiasm. The Aquatrend station attracts them with its simple
way to learn and try movement, things they could previously only dream
to do. It is very easy to learn and follow the instruction chart that
comes with the Aquatrend and can be attached to the station. After
working 10-15 minutes on the Water Workout Station you will feel as if
you spent at least an hour lifting weights or using Nautilus or Pilates
equipment. Loosing weight and gaining strength without stress on our
bodies can be performed only on the Aquatrend.
In many rehab and fitness institutions this workout station attracts
amateur and professional athletes as well as sports enthusiasts. Many
people have used the Aquatrend as part of the Burdenko Method which is a
unique combination of water and land exercises to enhance rehabilitation
and conditioning. The Water Workout Station is generally used as an
integral part of the aquatic portion of the Burdenko Method.
Significantly, the Aquatrend gives patients something to hold on to that
is sturdy and secure while providing an effective platform for aquatic
rehabilitation. To be installed it needs only two small holes in the
deck of the swimming pool. It's portable and light-weight; it’s easy to
take in and out of the water. It never needs maintenance, does not rust,
is made from stainless steel, and has great esthetics.
Olympian figure skaters such as Nancy Kerrigan, Paul Wylie, Oksana Baiul,
and Nicole Bobek have used the Aquatrend; many others like Captain of
the New York Knicks basketball team Alan Houston, world-ranked WTA
tennis player Chanda Rubin, Sarah Scpleper, Chip Knight, members of the
US Alpine Ski Team, have all received big doses of the Aquatrend in
their training. There are many different people using the Aquatrend,
such as a former Dean of MIT, who installed the Aquatrend in his private
pool; and a Nobel Prize Winner in chemistry and his wife have had great
experience and fun practicing on this unique and wonderful apparatus.
